Purpose > Pain

Last night, one of my goddess besties + fellow leader in Inner Glow CircleOlivia Chapman, said to me, “Make your purpose greater than your pain.” And she’s right.
You can always count on a true #soulsister to give you the BEST advice. In moments of grief and heartbreak, this is what we must do. Listen to our #sisters. Listen to ourselves.

My heart is a confusing mix of deep hurt and compassion. The past week has been filled with ups, downs, mystery and non-answers. I’ve cried during business meetings, and I’ve cried myself to sleep.

Because I’m a #goddess. I know the healing it is in the feeling it, and so I’m willing to go there again and again.

Losing my brother earlier this year taught me how to deal with deep tragedy. I ground myself. I take baths. I lay on the floor. I go into the forest, look at the sky and wonder WHY, not expecting an answer back.

Most of all, I remember what’s still possible. I can still breathe. I can still create. I can still make magic with my sisters. I can still lead, even from the mess. I can still rise up, ascend above all of this and literally transmute my pain into purpose.

Now feels like the perfect time to share an article I wrote for Over The Moon Magazine on “Why Ascension is the New Black.”

Sounds super woo right?! It is. And it’s gooooood.

Here’s a snippet:

“The task is not to detach from the human experience but to practice non-attachment, where we are grounded in the human experience (since it’s what we’ve chosen for this lifetime) but not hooked by it. We see beyond it, we experience other worlds, and we know there is so much more to existence than what meets the eye.”

Read the full article here {if you feel so called} and then leave a comment below. I’d love to know what juiciness you have to add to this conversation. And what you see here for yourself.

Tons of healing. Loads of love…
